Black Stone Rock - Images
Cyanotype images to go alongside the sculptural vases of Black Stone Rock. The photographs were taken at Kiver Edge - home to the last troglodyte dwellings in the UK, which were occupied until the 1960’s. Now owned by National Trust, the natural forms of the caves are juxtaposed with indications of human existing - windows, doors and chimneys. The rock is sandstone, which is easily carved and manipulated
