These dramatic red cliffs are made of incredibly soft sandstone and over the centuries, humans have manipulated and carved into the rock. Evidence of this activity is still present on its surface. &nbsp; &nbsp; Pottery is one of the oldest and most domestic art forms. Half the worlds population live in homes made of brick and clay vessels can emerge from archaeological digs thousands of years after being made. The photographs were taken at Kiver Edge - home to the last troglodyte dwellings in the UK, which were occupied until the 1960’s. Now owned by National Trust, the natural forms of the caves are juxtaposed with indications of human existing - windows, doors and chimneys. Originally from South America, they have large populations all over the world. This project aims to understand the economic mechanisms that can be used to explain how they came about to move around the earth. Through using machine learning, a mural network has been taught to ascertain when the snail is eating and when it it not, using a database of categorised images. The first and last sections are made out of Pergamenta paper - a imitation velum paper which has been chosen to mimic the translucent shell of a snail.
